A distinguishing factor of luxury vinyl tile is the shape of individual pieces. As luxury vinyl tile often imitates wood flooring, it characteristically comes in plank shapes.

Either 100% vinyl or vinyl/limestone mixture. Generally, wood-like luxury vinyl flooring will be made of 100% vinyl, while stone-like luxury vinyl flooring might have some stone composite.
