THE SAMLING GROUP
Established in 1976, as a logging business, the Samling
Group was founded by Tan Sri Yaw Teck Seng. The group
expanded quickly with many projects that were awarded
by the Sarawak state government. Diversification then
led to timber-related industries such as manufacturing
doors, flooring, furniture, property development, quarrying,
retail and marine services.
Today, the Samling Group is one of the largest natural
forest concession holders listed in Asia.
The consumer and retail division of the Samling Group
is Aino Living retail. |
